Pictures From Our Trip To Moline

Paul is too cute! I think he'll make a great son-in-law!

Hey there, what's your name?

John Deere!

Notice the keys, he was insistant upon having them. He really wanted to drive away!

Grant looking so cute coloring a picture.

Even though Nia couldn't climb around on the tractors, she was a happy girl!

Happy Birthday Nia!

Happy Birthday Nia!!!

Poor Nia awoke to mommy taking a birthday picture, say cheese!

To say we have had a busy week is a huge understatement! Our Nia officially turned 1 year old!!!! Tuesday was Nia's birthday so after a fun picnic at the park with Grant's preschool class we headed home for naps and then we had a little party. Grandma was here and we had cupcakes and presents. We got her a pink bubble mower and it was a hit! Nia loved it and so did the boys! They were wrestling over it and fighting. I have had to put it on top of the refrigerator several times already.

Wednesday was Mark's birthday. He is 29.....again! Ha! Ha! He wanted to take the boys to Moline to the John Deere museum and we got to go visit with the Marchik family. Katie and Jason were in Korea at the same time getting their little guy Paul. What dear friends they are! We had so much fun with them in Korea and it was great to see them again and have the kids meet.

The John Deere museum was a hit! The boys had a blast climbing on all of the combines, tractors and everything. And they also loved the John Deere store. It's a good thing that the museum is free!

Still Busy, Will It Ever Slow Down?

Grant at school during his "bug safari party", we had a fun time!
Nia likes the swings at the parks!
Nia, just looking cute!
Sorry, I forgot to turn this one. This would be Alex, who was throwing a tantrum and then fell asleep standing up! My poor little buddy! He was tired!

Check out my little helper. He loves to make Nia's bottles. Notice his little finger over the top. He does it just like I do!

I am seeing a pattern here. He is going to be a great daddy!

Mommy and Nia

Grant with his bird feeder that he and I made. We have seen lots of birds!
Smiles!

Grandma and Nia

Hello All! Yes, I know it has been a while! Anybody left out there checking in? I have heard from a few of you, telling me to post some more pictures. Everyday I think I will get to the computer and it just doesn't happen. Yesterday I got a surprise when I opened up the computer and what did I find? A large chunk of my computer keys gone! Urgh! My sweet little rugrats got their hands on it and managed to pluck off the keys. So, now I have to find them. That should be easy amongst the 8 hundred toys they have. Anyway, things are going well. Not much news to report which I guess is good. I just have to say that I am SO TIRED of rain!!!! Enough already!
The boys have been keeping busy playing inside and driving me crazy. Nia is doing great! She really seems to enjoy playing with the boys. Especially Grant. She used to be pretty scared in the tub but with Grant in there with her she has alot of fun!
We are looking forward to a fun weekend visiting with some great friends and relaxing. Hopefully there will be sunshine!

A Blessed Easter!

The Easter bunny visited our house on Saturday night. He must have known we had to get up early for church the next morning! The kids had fun hunting for their baskets and eggs. Alex especially LOVED all the chocolate. As he would find an egg, he would open it and stuff whatever candy was in it, into his mouth. He probobly gets that from his mommy! Notice the chocolate all over his chin. Nia's first Easter. She was happy to watch the boys run around like crazies looking for their eggs.
Alex had chocolate all over him!

Grant, looking for the Easter Bunny.

Easter Day. We enjoyed a wonderful service at church and then headed home for some lunch and naps before heading out to Mark's parents house.

Nia had fun with all of her cousins. Especially Ross! She wanted him to hold her more than anyone. LOVE that face!

Again with her happy face!

This is one of my favorite pictures!

How do you get three young kiddos to sit still, smile at the camera and not all fall off the couch? This one was our best.
Hope you all had a very blessed Easter!

Daddy and Nia at Grandma and Grandpa Lipic's house.

Grant with his Easter basket.

The kids, checking out their loot.

Catch Up Over The Last Several Days

Alex and Nia just getting up from a nap and snuggling with daddy. Doesn't Alex look happy? Can't say the same for poor Nia. Recently, Alex is wanting to hold Nia and help change her diaper. He pats her on the bottom and tells me, "pooh, pooh." He then brings me a diaper and will get out the wipes. He also pats her on the back and kisses her. I think he is getting use to having her around! Good thing!
Finally a smile in the tub! Yeah!

Coloring our Easter eggs, pardon the heads cut off.

Alex was really concentrating on putting the stickers on his eggs, and his face.

Grant was ready and waiting to do our eggs. He stuck the white crayon behind his ear, just like daddy does.

I swear I don't make them keep their helmets on! In fact, the one Alex has on is Mark's. Grant is in his super hero pose. He is always ready to fly!

Nia likes the swing. Hopefully the weather will warm up again so we can hit the parks.

Nia's First Trip To The Zoo

Saturday we were blessed with a beautiful sunny day! So we took the kids to the zoo. It was Nia's first time and she seemed to really like it! She was a happy camper the entire day!Nia was trying to figure out what she was seeing, it was her brothers on the carousel. She was very intrigued by it.
Alex didn't care much for the bugs, me neither! Especially the enormous cockroaches, I could do without them. He kept saying "yuk mom!" I agree!

This picture cracks me up!! The boys were looking at an owl that only had one leg and they were mimicking it.

A fun time at the zoo and then home for lunch and naps, a great day!

Busy, Busy, Busy!!!!

To say that I have been busy is an understatement! I am busier than I have ever been! Today was our 5th visit to Nia's pediatrician! Our poor girl has had a cold, then fluid in her ears and then a reaction to something that is causing hives. But even with all that she is still doing great! We love to see her big smile!

Today we had our first post-placement visit with our social worker. It went well and it was fun to see Jill and tell her about our trip and for her to see Nia.

I will try to post some new pictures tomorrow, hopefully she is hive free! The one above is from when we were at the airport waiting for our flight home.
