Anyone Still Out There?

So, I have had a LONG break, I know! Life has been so busy! Where did the summer go? We are now on to school which just seems crazy. Grant goes in the afternoon every day and Alex in the morning two days a week. The schedule is insane! Pick up and drop off. Over and over! And, it doesn't help that we are..... moving! As if life isn't hectic enough, why not throw in a move to a new house. We are super excited but SO busy! See a theme here? Anyhoo, Tuesday is our official move date. Maybe after that it will calm down a little. Maybe. :)

Nia's Big Birthday Bash

So we had Nia's big party and she had a blast! What little girl wouldn't love a Hello Kitty Party? And a pink Barbie four wheeler is fun too! It took her a minute to figure it out but as soonb as she did, she was off. Alex kept following her around asking her if she was ready to share. Ha! Ha! Now my girl has her own wheels!

Waiting so patiently for her piece of cake. Look at that sweet face!

Ready to Party!

Birthday Pictures

On Nia's birthday we had a little party here at home. She couldn't wait to blow out the candles! And she definately loves opening presents! I can't believe that she is 2 years old! She is growing up too fast!

The Sandbox Pool

So what do my kiddos do when I tell them that we are not getting the pool out yet? They fill up their sandbox with water and make a "sandpool" according to Grant. Oh well, at least they are having fun and getting along, that is always a great thing!

Duck Taped Diaper

Don't let the cute little face fool you! This girl is one determined little stinker. When she wants to get that diaper off, she is very persistant! But, this time I won, the duck tape worked great! I guess I better stock up.

The Poop Master

So I have decided to change my job title from "stay-at -home mom" to "official-poop-cleaner upper." So let me tell you about my day. It starts with a little voice yelling, "mom come and wipe me, NOW!" We are working on patience.

Next, I go to get Nia up. You know when you walk into a room and you are almost knocked over by a REALLY bad smell? Well, that was it! So my beautiful little stinker managed to take her diaper off, once again. The first few times she did it I decided I would just put a little bloomer over her diaper. It worked for a while and then she was able to get that off. So then I went to stretch pants. They were snug enough I didn't think she could disrobe. Again, it worked for a while but then she managed to get them off. So, now I am left with no choice. I will be implementing "operation duck tape diaper." Let's see how she deals with that!!! I probobly shouldn't be cocky, you never know! I give Nia a bath, get her dressed and as I am combing her hair she poops! Argh! I head to the basement to put her bedding (and pillow, blankets, loveys and animals) in the wash and what do I see? The dog pooped on the carpet in the basement!! REALLY?! Enough all ready! So I get the carpet cleaned and then head outside to play with the kids. And what comes next? No one else seems to care that there are piles all over the back yard so I grab the scooper and away I go. And alas, I have another diaper to change. It's not even noon yet. At least the kids will all be potty trained some day. I just have to figure out what to do with that dog!!
