Friday Night At The Lipic House

My, how my Friday night have changed over the years! I love it! I am SO blessed by my family!

Daddy and Nia had their first date night! They went swimming and then out to supper at Culver's. Daddy said Nia was a little nervous at the pool but she loved the restaurant. There is a huge fish tank filled with tropical fish that Nia really likes!

Potty Training Is Not For The Weak!

Yeah! Our first success! Thumbs up!
So, since Alex is three and diapers are costly, I decided that it was time for him to get the hang of the potty. It is day three. Ugh! Is there a service I can call to do this? So much poop and so little time! He is doing great with the number 1 of it all, it is the other that is proving to be difficult. I know he will get the hang of it, I just hope it is sooner rather than later!

Alex's Birthday Party

Could I have any more posts about Alex's birthday? We really like to celebrate around here! So, we had our family and friends here for the big party. It is always nice to have everyone over and get to catch up. Aex loved all the awesome toys he got and he loved his fire truck cake. It is so hard to believe that he is three years old! I just signed him up for preschool and that is just crazy!
This is his favorite shirt and mine too! It is perfect because he is such a monkey!

Grandma Lipic and Alex having some yummy pizza!

Do I have good handiwork or what? I always know the best bakery to call!

Alex Is 3 Years Old!

I've been meaning to get pictures from Alex's birthday up but I'm running a little behind. Nonetheless, Alex had a fun birthday. We went to Chuck 'E Cheese and of course the kids loved it. Well, Grant and Alex did, Nia was not happy at all. I don't blame her. Talk about overstimulation! And then this huge mouse comes up to you and tries to play with you. Alex was a little nervous but he did let Chuck E take a picture with him. He is my brave boy! After that, we headed home for cake and presents.

The boys won a ton of tickets! With their fortune they were able to get these very high tech, very cool microphones. Here daddy and Grant are singing the theme song to the Dukes of Hazard. It is one of the tunes daddy sings to them at night. I'm so boring, I sing "Twinkle Twinkle."

Love those rides!

Is that a smile or a "get me'outta here" look?

What is cheesier? Mark's smile or the pizza? What a good daddy to wear the hat!!

If you are driving, I want out!!!

Me and My Girls In The Bahamas

What a lucky girl am I! After recovering from the craziness of Christmas I was able to take a trip with two of my closest friends from college. We took a four day cruise to the Bahamas and we had a great time! It was very relaxing! It was a wonderful break from cooking, breaking up squabbles, grocery shopping, changing diapers, you get the idea. And cheers to my awesome hubby for staying with the kiddos! He did a great job! I do think they ate fast food each night but everyone was in one piece and the house was in good shape when I returned, so job well done for him!

Happy Birthday Alex!!

Happy Birthday To My Favorite Little Blondie!
