Painting The Playroom

The finished project! Yeah!
Alex rocking out. He's suppose to be painting! :)
How do you like the wall? Mark is such a good daddy! He let the kids come in and play with the paint on the walls! He was being very patient!
Nice hat daddy!
Look at that precision! No tape! He did a fantastic job!

We Love Dirt!

Of all the places in the yard, my kiddos always gravitate towards the dirt. There is a small patch of dirt where Mark took out a tree and the kids will play there for hours!

Forever Friends

Mark and I feel so fortunate that when we traveled to Korea we were with two other families from Illinois. We didn't know each other until we started on this wild trip but it is amazing how quickly you bond when you go to a foreign country! It also helps that they are just awesome people!!! We love them so much and were happy that we were able to spend a weekend together recently. The kids grow and change so fast! We had a wonderful time! After lunch we headed to the Children's Discovery Museum. This isn't a great picture but the kids were putting on a show for the parents. There is a stage and costumes they can play with. So cute! Tired parents! Missing three adults. Probobly hiding out somewhere!

Don't even think of getting this cookie! I have brothers, I know how to defend myself!

Nia's Seoul Sister

In January, Mark and I had the awesome privilage of picking up our dear friends the Dietz's at the airport upon coming home from Korea with their sweet girl Ava! She is beautiful and so happy! We couldn't wait to get our families together! So, in March we took our kiddos to visit them! Love this picture of the two of them together! They will really need each other. They both have brothers!!

It was such a special experience to be there when Steve and Jennell walked through the doors with Ava. I was so excited I couldn't hardly stand it! It has been amazing to get to see them start from the beginning on this adoption journey and then to see them at home with their little Ava! We serve such an AWESOME God!
